Since starting Top Shelf in 2004, we have been part of over 500 weddings, countless rehearsal dinners, and Sunday after brunches . We have had the pleasure of helping with small intimate 35 guest weddings in a local backyard all the way to coordinating a 350 person wedding at the highest end venues in town.
What we have learned from all of these wonderful events is that no wedding is the same. From the moment that a little girl played wedding in her room to having her dreams become a reality by becoming the beautiful bride she's always envisioned, we want to help make your event as unique and one of a kind as you are. Each has a desired look, feel, and experience that we have the pleasure making a reality.
The saddest part is the cost of bringing it to fruition - especially in Santa Barbara! With the cost of your: venue, caterer, rentals, liquor, DJ, photographer and so much more, the average couple finds it nearly impossible to have their wedding in the Santa Barbara region. This is where we have found a niche! Granted we are still part of some amazing high dollar productions, but in the recent past we have been part of a growing trend of "a la carte weddings" that are becoming the norm. With the use of the right companies, venues and products we have been able to see many of our weddings come in under $10,000 for everything. I know this sounds crazy, but it's not once you get away from the huge catering companies that want to charge $20, $30 and up to $100 per head, the $10,000 wedding planner and the over priced rental companies. The weddings we are lucky enough to be part of are beautiful, amazing, fun and at the end of the day it's not the meal you will remember, its the memories made with your friends and family you value most.
